Her zaman based on/ inspired by a true story filmlerin hastası olmuşumdur. 2000 veya 2001 yılında sinemaya geldiği zamanda çok etkilenmiş, bu hafta tekrar izlediğimde de çok etkilendim. Carl Brashear ilk Afrika kökenli Amerikalı Ampute ordu dalgıcı. ( Master Chief Petty Officer ). Film gerçekten iyi hatta sonlarına doğru insan duygulanmaya başlayıp gaza geliyor o 12 adımda yürü be diyo. Billy Sunday ( Robert De Niro ) ' in sonlara doğru verdiği coşkuda muhteşemdi. Filmde çok iyi repliklerde var:
